Launch of the Tidal website and promotional material campaign. Thank you to all of our customers for your patience during this process. We will continue to do our best to offer you the products and services you’ve come to expect, and encourage any comments or questions you may have with the launch of our website and marketing materials.

Three new sink models were added to the Tidal line of sinks. A radius corner laundry sink, along with a single bowl and double bowl apron sink are now available. These new models, along with the restocking of our warehouse will allow us to go back to the distributors and rebrand Tidal sinks.

Notice to all customers that we would no longer be able to bring in more of our old line of sinks, so the focus of our company quickly began to change. Instead of Tidal sinks being focused on the builder side, to compliment another sink line, we quickly regrouped. Planning stages quickly started with the need to bring in more radius corner sinks, add sink options, and rebrand / re-engineer our marketing campaign.

Each year, new models have been introduced to the Tidal line of sinks. Some are based on customer requests, while others are based on the trends in the marketplace. We hope to continue to exceed your expectations, while continuing to keep our product offering at a reasonable level to ensure quality, and product availability.

A notice was sent out to all existing customers that the Tidal sink line would now be available for purchase from all authorized distributors. With a compact product offering, we quickly learned that expansion would be inevitable.

As the Tidal line was introduced, customer feedback requested new sink models be added to our product offering. Listening to our customer base, we started to increase our products and services, still keeping our item list as concise as possible

Sales reps were sent out to promote the Tidal line of sinks. Originally, these sinks were brought in to compliment another line, since the builders series sinks were discontinued in Canada. The product offering was small, and promotional materials kept to a minimum so we could pass along any savings to our customers.

Tidal has settled into our warehouse location, secured a PO box and obtained a rental space for our head office location. We now have room to work more efficiently and grow the business, as required.

Our first order of sinks arrived at our warehouse location – we are now open and ready for business.
October 30, 2012
We made an agreement to purchase with a reputable sink manufacturer. Then, started talks with IAPMO Research and Testing, Inc to obtain CUPCs for our proposed Tidal sink line. These marks are accepted in all provinces and territories in Canada, and confirm with the necessary requirements, as referenced in the National Plumbing Code of Canada as well as other provincial codes.

The birth of Tidal Sinks Plus Ltd. Our Certificate of Incorporation was completed with the Canada Business Corporations Act (CBCA), although it would be some time before we actually received the original for our records.
